One Direction Gets Waxed For Madame Tussaud's

ORLANDO (CBSMiami) -- After touring London, Sydney, New York, Hollywood and San Francisco, One Direction's wax figures have finally landed at Madame Tussauds Orlando.
Fans can take the selfie of their dreams as the wax figures of all five members - Niall, Harry, Liam, Louis and even Zayn - are profiled in Orlando marking an exclusive reunion for the band since Zayn's departure from the group this past spring.
Madame Tussauds Orlando held a special social media contest where 15 One Direction fans received makeovers from Macy's and were among the first to meet the One Direction figures ahead of the public.
Fans can take photos, sing along to their award-winning hits and get up close and personal with their favorite band member.
The figures are in a seated position on bleachers, so fans can interact with the entire group, sitting down right next to their favorite star for the best photo op.
The real band kicked off their North American On The Road Again tour Thursday July 9. The figures will remain in a special area of the attraction dedicated to the band throughout the summer.
"As the newest Madame Tussauds attraction, we're so excited to have all of these amazing celebrities under one roof, and the arrival of One Direction is the perfect addition to our star-studded attraction," said James Paulding, Head of Southeast Region for Midway Entertainments for Merlin Entertainments. "Our Orlando location will be the only place for fans to see their favorite pop band reunited with all five members for the summer season!"
