MIAMI SPRINGS (CBSMiami) –  A Miami Springs 2 year old battling a serious illness is getting a dream come true – a germ free backyard.

Daniella Collazo is a little confused right now as her backyard is being uprooted.

"Right now she has no idea she's like why are all these people messing up my backyard," said Silvia Dominguez Vanni.

Dominguez Vanni is the reason for the mess. Her son lost the battle to cancer.

"My mission in life is to make kids as happy as I can while they get treatment," she said.

Dominguez Vanni started the Mystic Force Foundation to help kids like Daniella who has Stage 3 Neuroblastoma.

Dirt and grass can harm her low immune system, but decks and ground cover will alleviate those problems.

"They're calling it Daniella's wish, and this is Daniella's wish," said Daniella's dad, Jose Callazo. Me and my family are eternally grateful."

And the group is hard at work making sure this wish does come true.

"When I don't think I can get it done I invite a lot of people and we get it done," said landscaper Ahmed Hassan.

The deadline for the completion is Sunday at 4 p.m.

With the 200 volunteers in the backyard and the 34 national sponsors – weather permitting – it's on track.
