Jelly Fish Victim In Key West Rescued By U.S. Coast Guard

KEY WEST (CBSMiami/AP) – A Swedish woman, while on vacation in the Keys, had to be picked up by a U.S. Coast Guard ship after being stung by jelly fish.

The coast guard was called in after the woman stung by jelly fish began to experience nausea and paralysis.

The woman was on the Sebago Cubed, a chartered vessel, in the waters near Key West and was brought to shore by the U.S. Coast Guard crew.

Upon arriving on shore, the woman was treated for the jelly fish stings.

No further information is immediately available.
