SCOUTING: From the first time we watched him perform at the youth football league, there was no getting around the fact that this young man was special. He proved it during his freshman season at Miami Northwestern, playing a key role for the Bulls. He also did last season during Booker T. Washington's fourth straight championship run at the Class 4A level. As he begins his junior season, he has now moved up to play for the Lions, and from the quality offseason he had, here is yet another impressive talent that you want to keep an eye on. Pelote is an athletic football talent who has plenty of quickness and is a smart player, being able to read plays. With a new head coach and plenty of defensive standouts on this team, look for this tremendous talent to really emerge as one of the best prospects in this junior class. He will only get better as they year moves on - which is great news for this program - that figures to make a solid run at a 3A crown in 2016.
