SCOUTING: From the moment he stepped on campus during the spring - after coming over from Nova (Davie), Johnson was indeed a football talent that everyone watched and started to offer. One of the best defensive secondary performers in the current senior class, there was very little interest in him until he made the move and everyone started to watch what he could do against top flight competition. Johnson is an athletic football player who has everything you are searching for in a quality defensive back. This University of Louisville commit has shown that when he has a chance to line up against the best on the other side of the ball, he comes out on top. He's a very skilled prospect who just needed a chance to show what he can do. Look back at any game the Lions have played this season - win or lose - and you will see this talented football player always around the action. He is wired that way - and it will certainly pay off for him at the next level and beyond. Johnson is a very solid talent who has helped to lead this program to a district championship. Many are excited to see how much he continues to blow up as he heads to college after graduation.
