SCOUTING: If you know the history of this program, you that each year the Raiders come up with at least one game-changing prospect who turns head from the moment he steps onto the field. Perry is the next great young prospect on the rise. Watching him play, his motor never stops and his passion for the game is indeed worth keeping an eye on. As a pass rusher, he is nearly impossible to stop right now - as he heads toward his sophomore season. His speed and athleticism take over from the moment the play begins. He not only has the physical ability, but his knack of reading blocks and knowing where the flow of each play is headed has been huge. This past spring, college coaches who came through left impressed by a young player who has three full seasons left. And as this offseason begins - with a number of camps and combines that are coming up - his stock will rise. The thing that surprises you about a player at this young age, is all the knowledge he has of the game and playing the position. Coaches we talked to believe that Perry is going to be one of those elite players who will start to get national looks because of what he brings to the table as a student-athlete.
