Hollywood Police Involved Shooting, One Man In Custody

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) - One person is in custody after a police-involved shooting in Hollywood.

According to police, around 2:45 a.m. there was a confrontation between a man and a police officer in downtown Hollywood.

They said the officer felt threatened and fired one shot as the man sped off. He crashed a short time later in the 1400 block of Harrison Street.

The injured man was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital.

No officers were injured.
