Heat's Big 3 Finalists For Olympic Squad

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat may be well-represented on the 2012 United States Olympic team.

USA Basketball announced Monday that Heat players Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh are all among the 20 finalists for the 2012 squad.

Wade and James are likely shoe-ins for the final 12 man roster and Bosh is likely to join them. The three first contemplated playing together in the NBA when they were on the Redeem Team in 2008.

Coach Mike Krzyzewski will make the final cuts to the roster by June 20.

Wade has previously said that this year will be his final time playing for the U.S. Olympic team as he wants younger players to have the opportunity to play in his place.

The full list of finalists is:

Guards: Dwyane Wade, Deron Williams, Chris Paul, Eric Gordon, Russell Westbrook, Chauncey Billups, Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant
Forwards:
LeBron James, Andre Iguodala, Rudy Gay, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Blake Griffin, Lamar Odom, LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love.
Centers: Dwight Howard, Tyson Chandler
