Florida Man Accused Of Killing Mom In Home They Shared

EAST NAPLES (CBSMiami/AP) — A man is behind bars for a reason that would baffle many.

The 30-year-old southwest Florida man is accused of killing his mother inside the mobile home they shared.

Collier County Sheriff's investigators said in a news release that Yuzo Nishi was booked into jail early Monday on a second-degree murder charges.

An arrest report says deputies found 51-year-old Maria Bertalmio dead Sunday night when they responded to a medical call at the home in Sunny Acres Mobile Village in East Naples. Deputies say the woman was in the living room.

Investigators say her son caused her death.

The cause of death hasn't been released.

Reports don't indicate whether Nishi has retained a lawyer.
