Floating Body Found In Pinecrest Canal
PINECREST (CBSMiami) -- Miami-Dade Police are investigating the death of a person found floating in a Pinecrest canal Friday morning.
According to police, at 11:30 a.m., a City of Pinecrest resident notified the Pinecrest Police Department about a body floating.
The body was floating along Snapper Creek Canal located at 6351 S.W. 87th Terrace.
Police said due to the nature of the investigation no further information will be released until the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner's Department completes the autopsy on the recovered body.
