FIU Student Found Dead After Hotel Frat Party

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- An investigation is underway after a 19-year-old college student died at a Ft. Lauderdale hotel.

Kellie Fullilove, a student at FIU, had attended an off-campus party Sunday at the Bahia Mar hotel on 801 Seabreeze Blvd just before she died, Ft. Lauderdale Police said.

The event was organized by the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

Detectives said there are no signs of foul play and are awaiting for a toxicology report from the Medical Examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
