Fins' Wallace Not Happy After Game 1 Victory

DAVIE (CBSMiami) – After a victory, you'd think every player on the Miami Dolphins would be happy about the performance. That wasn't the case for the Fins' $60 million man, wide receiver Mike Wallace.

Multiple reports said Wallace left the team's locker room in Cleveland sulking saying, "I don't feel like talking." After Wallace was asked by CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald about the game, he told reporters to "ask coach" about the game plan against the Browns.

Wallace was reportedly not happy with his role in the Dolphins' offense versus the Browns. In the game, Wallace recorded one catch but was targeted five times by Fins quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Wallace finished with 15 receiving yards in the game.

The Dolphins gave Wallace a contract with $60 million in guarantees hoping he would become a franchise-changing receiver. Wallace's role is to blow the top off of defenses to help get he and his teammates open.

Tannehill completed 24-38 passes for 272 yards and one touchdown making it appear that Wallace served his role perfectly.

Contrast Wallace's post-game antics with Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant. Expectations have been built for Bryant all summer long and he finished Game 1 with four catches for 22 yards. Here's what Bryant had to say after the game.

"If teams want to continue to keep doing that (double-team him), we'll continue to keep doing what we're doing," Bryant told ESPNDallas.com. "I honestly feel like it's respect. You're respecting me, so therefore, it's always good to see somebody else shine."
