Fatal Double Shooting Investigated In Northwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Miami-Dade police detectives are investigating a fatal double shooting in Northwest Miami.

Officials said the shooting occurred on Friday night at around 11:28 p.m. in the area of Northwest 76th Street and 16th Avenue.

Police said they were led to the shooting scene via Shot Spotter notification.

Investigators said there was evidence of at least 80 shots having been fired at the scene.

When units arrived they found two males suffering from gunshot wounds.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.
