MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Thousands of cribs and baby furniture have been recalled due to a violation of lead paint standard.

If ingested, lead can cause adverse health effects.

The affected items were sold nationwide and online at BabysDream.com from March 2014 and March 2015.

The furniture included in the recall was manufactured between March 2014 and March 2015 in Chile.

Consumers are asked to contact Baby's Dream, at at (800) 835-2742 or online, to arrange an exchange.
