Canes-Noles Set For 3:30 Kickoff

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – It's not the nationally important game it once was, but this weekend's matchup between the Florida State Seminoles and the Miami Hurricanes should be another great game.

The game has been scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff and will feature a Seminoles team that is finally playing like everyone expected them to play at the beginning of the season, and a Canes squad led by quarterback Jacory Harris, who's on a tear in recent weeks.

Miami blew out Duke last Saturday and two days before that; the Seminoles demolished the Boston College Eagles.

Saturday's game will be the 56th time the schools have met on the football field. Overall, Miami has won more games, 31-24.

Florida State has won four of the last six matchups with the Canes, including a 45-17 win at Sun Life Stadium last year.

The game will be Miami head coach Al Golden's first taste of a matchup that used to determine an annual leader for the national championship.
