BSO Deputy Injured During Chase In Broward

DEERFIELD BEACH (CBSMiami) -- A car rammed into a Broward deputy during a chase in Broward on Tuesday afternoon.
It all happened near 200 W. Hillsboro Boulevard.
Broward Sheriff's office officials said the deputy had been chasing a stolen vehicle which later crashed into the deputy's car, injuring him just after 4 p.m.
Rescue crews rushed the deputy to Broward Health North with non-life threatening injuries. No word on his condition.
The driver of the stolen vehicle, a black Ford Escape, was taken into custody.
