2 Arrested After Possible Robbery At Police Officer's Home
HOMESTEAD (CBS4)- The home of a Miami-Dade police officer became an active crime scene early Tuesday afternoon after the officer's wife came home to find two men broke into their house.
Police officers, including SWAT team members, reported to a home along Southwest 320th street in Homestead. According to police, the officer's wife turned into her area and noticed a dark colored Hyundai in the driveway. She also noticed that her house's door may have busted in.
Police surrounded the area.
Officials said they have two people in custody, and are checking the home to make sure there are no other possible suspects. At first, police said that they arrested one person and the second person was barricaded inside, possibly armed.
No one else is believed to be in the home.
