(CBS) Many celebrities will be hosting New Year's Eve parties of their own all over the country at various nightclubs. This year, Las Vegas seems like the place to be.

The Kardashian family, along with celebrities like Fergie and Chris Brown, are slated to ring in the New Year's in Sin City, while across the country Lady Gaga and a host of other musical performers will be celebrating in New York City's Time Square with Dick Clark's "New Year's Rockin' Eve."

Kim Kardashian at TAO in Las Vegas

Newly single Kim Kardashian will be at TAO Nightclub in Las Vegas. Tickets for the fete at the Venetian Hotel's nightclub went for $150, which includes a champagne toast at midnight.

Kardashian hosted TAO's New Year's Eve party last year, where she debuted her single, "Turn It Up," reports Us Weekly.

Kim is not the only Kardashian that will be partying it up in Vegas: Her little brother Rob Kardashian will be hosting his own event at Tryst Nightclub at the Wynn hotel, and her older sister Kourtney Kardashian will make an appearance at Paris Las Vegas's Chateau, along with her boyfriend Scott Disick.

Chris Brown at Pure in Las Vegas

The R&B/Pop star will be hosting an event at Pure nightclub in Caesar's Palace. General admission into Brown's bash costs $200.00

Brown is no stranger to Pure -- he celebrated his 22nd birthday there in May of this year.

Fergie at 1 OAK in Las Vegas

The Black Eyed Peas singer will be hosting a party at The Mirage's 1 OAK nightclub in Las Vegas. While regular tickets for the event are going for $275, Fergie is auctioning off a chance for two fans to get VIP treatment and ring the New Year in with style.

The Grammy-award winning artist partnered with to auction off tickets to fly from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in a private jet, stay in the 3,000 sq. ft. Real World Suite at the Palms, and then attend her New Years Eve bash as VIP guests.

The proceeds from the auction, which ended Dec. 27, are to benefit Sunflower Children Funds, a humanitarian aid organization providing survival and development care for the forgotten children of the world. The estimated value of the auctioned items were $20,000.

Guns N' Roses at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas

Guns N' Roses will rock out at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. The band, who are doing their first U.S. tour in 5 years, will be ending their run at the Hard Rock on Dec. 30 and 31.

The band's New Year's Eve show is already sold out, but tickets are still available for the Dec. 30 show. Guns N' Roses are slated to play a two-and-a-half hour set that will feature all of the band's hits.

Following Guns N' Roses final performance, rapper Drake will perform at the Hard Rock on New Year's day.

Stars from The CW at LIV nightclub in Miami

Actors Chance Crawford and Jessica Szohr of The CW's "Gossip Girl" along with Jessica Lownde, of The CW's "90210," will be guests at LIV nightclub at Miami's Fountainbleu hotel.

All the guests ringing in the New Year at LIV will be entertained by Busta Rhymes and members of Swedish House Mafia.

Lady Gaga at Time's Square in New York

Lady Gaga is headlining Dick Clark's New Years Eve special, "New Year's Rockin' Eve," which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.

The show is set to feature 29 separate musical performances, but Lady Gaga gets the prime slot in Times Square in the moments before the ball drops at midnight. Justin Bieber, Pitbull, Hot Chelle Rae, Florence + The Machine, Gym Class Heroes, Nicki Minaj and Taio Cruz are among the other featured performers from New York and Los Angeles.

Phish at Madison Square Garden in New York

The band is scheduled to end their four-show run at MSG on New Year's Eve. This is not the first time the band has rang in the new year at the historic venue -- last year Phish celebrated 2011 playing four nights, including a Jan. 1 show.

For those who couldn't score tickets to the band's upcoming sold-out shows, the band will be webcasting the shows online. The New Year's eve show has its own special price of $19.99.

Patti Smith at the Bowery Ballroom in New York

Patti Smith and her band will be playing for the lucky few who were able to get tickets to her New Year's Eve show at the intimate Bowery Ballroom in New York City.

In 2011, Smith released her first-ever greatest hits album, "Outside Society," and she also reissued an earlier book, "Woolgathering." The show all the Bowery Ballroom caps off Smith's busy year.
