Unexpected friendship inspires LucStrong Foundation honoring Luc Bodden
A chance friendship between high school athlete JD Slajchert and young fan Luc Bodden inspired the creation of the LucStrong Foundation, which supports children with sickle cell disease. Slajchert spoke with KCAL9 about his novel MoonFlower, based on their bond, and the foundation's work.
