Study finds that gas stoves leak benzene and other pollutants, even when they aren't lit

A new study has found that gas stoves throughout California are leaking benzene and other pollutants, even when they aren't lit. One scientist who worked on that study said that the issue is unavoidable until the stoves can be phased out.
