Karen Bass elected 43rd Mayor of Los Angeles
The Associated Press has called a crucial local race, predicting that Rep. Karen Bass has defeated her competitor in Rick Caruso, becoming the 43rd Mayor of Los Angeles - and the first Black woman to hold the position.
