CSU Channel Islands students file $1 million lawsuit against university over handling of protests
CSU Channel Islands students are suing the university over its handling of a pro-Palestinian protest encampment. CSUCI responded after the Labor Day holiday and provided the following statement: "The information being alleged is incorrect. Among other things, CSUCI provided ample notification to the encampment group...Multiple items were collected from the encampment location on our campus and were logged into safe storage at the University Police Department. Some encampment participants already came forward to collect items and other individuals believing they have items to collect can contact our University Police Department at (805) 437-8444 or visit the department at 1 University Drive, Camarillo.
