Chemical leak prompts mandatory evacuations, closure of 215 Freeway in Perris
A massive leak of a chemical called styrene caused an emergency response in Perris overnight, after the dangerous chemical reached temperatures that could cause a violent explosion. More than 170 homes have been evacuated and a large stretch of the 215 Freeway closed.
