Crews Restore Power To Customers In West Hollywood, Hollywood Hills

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Thousands of residents were without power Wednesday due to gusty winds that blew overnight.

According to Los Angeles Department of Water and Power officials, crews restored power to 1,170 customers living in Hollywood Hills, near Laurel Canyon, Crescent Heights and Sunset boulevards.

Southern California Edison restored power to 1,120 customers in West Hollywood.

The outage affected traffic on La Cienega Boulevard and Melrose Avenue.

Officials said the cause of the outages appears to be wind-related.
