Vandals Damage Statue Honoring Surviving Family Members Of Those Killed In WWII
REDLANDS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a statue honoring the surviving family members of those killed in World War II was damaged by vandals.
Dubbed "Widows and Orphans," the statue in Jennie Davis Park was dedicated in 2008.
But over the weekend, authorities say the widow figure was ripped from its base, leaving the orphan alone on the pedestal.
