LA Motorcycle Deputy Seriously Hurt In Valencia Wreck
SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA) – A Los Angeles County Sheriff's motorcycle deputy was seriously injured in a crash involving a big-rig in the Valencia area Wednesday morning.
The collision occurred at around 8 a.m. in the area of McBean Parkway and Creekside Road.
The deputy was taken to a hospital in serious condition, L.A. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said.
The deputy was identified as Chad Perrigo.
According to Villanueva, the the semi-truck collided with the motorcycle while making a left turn.
The exact cause and circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
