Police search for U-Haul driver who crashed into townhouse in Orange

Police are searching for a U-Haul driver who crashed into a townhouse in Orange before fleeing the scene Tuesday morning.

Orange police officers received a call around 2:33 a.m. near East Lincoln and North Palm avenues after a truck crashed into a townhouse.

The Orange Police Department said the driver of the U-Haul grabbed his dog from the truck and fled the scene.

One person inside the townhouse suffered minor lacerations on their feet from broken glass.

Police said building inspectors will be assessing the damage and integrity of the structure.
