Sister Pleads No Contest In USC-UCLA Brawl, Stabbing

PASADENA (CBS) — The sister involved in a brawl that led to a man's stabbing before a USC-UCLA game at the Rose Bowl has pleaded no contest Thursday to misdemeanor battery in connection with the fight.

As part of her plea deal, Akira Sheree Cisneros, 24, of Winnetka, was ordered to serve three years probation and perform 40 hours of community labor, according to the District Attorney's Office.

Cisneros' younger brother, Anthony Richard Cisneros, 22, was charged with two counts of attempted murder for allegedly stabbing two people with a knife. Her older brother, Arthur Joseph Cisneros, 26, is charged with assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury.

The Dec. 4 fight in Parking Lot 1 was apparently sparked by by an errant football that hit a Mercedes-Benz. During the Melee, 27-year-old Cal State Fullerton student Joshua Dirling was stabbed in the cheek. Vimal Patel, 24, was stabbed in the back.

The two brothers are due back in court March 23.
