Serena Williams Won Australian Open While Pregnant
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — There was a grand slam announcement from Serena Williams Wednesday.
The tennis ace is pregnant, her representative confirms.
The 35-year-old, who was raised in Compton, made the announcement on Snapchat, adding "20 weeks" as a caption.
Williams is engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion hasn't played tennis since she won the Australian open in January. That was a little less than 12 weeks ago, which means she was pregnant while she swept the competition.
