Sailors Rescued Off Marina Del Rey After Boat Washes Ashore
MARINA DEL REY (CBSLA.com) — Two people were rescued from a sailboat near Marina del Rey Tuesday night.
LA County Lifeguards responded to the distress call.
One person from the sailboat was said to be suffering trauma after a close call.
The boat washed up on a beach just north of the Marina del Rey channel around 9 p.m.
Crews planned to tow the sailboat back into deep water, so it could be moved back to regular moorage.
