Rampage Puts Hollywood Aside To Prepare For UFC 130
LOS ANGELES (AP)- Hollywood can wait for Rampage Jackson. He's still focused on finishing out his mixed martial arts career with flair.
Jackson says he has turned down film roles in recent months since his turn as B.A. Baracus in the summer blockbuster "The A-Team." Jackson still wants to be an actor, but not before several more fights with the UFC's top contenders.
At UFC 130 in the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas on Saturday, he's fighting another light heavyweight contender who knows a bit about moviemaking.
Matt Hamill has been deaf since birth, and his inspiring life story was turned into a movie for release this fall.
While Jackson is a former UFC champion, Hamill hopes to emerge among the top contenders after winning his past five fights.
