Pomona Man, 61, Shot Dead In Alley
POMONA (CBSLA) – A 61-year-old Pomona man was shot to death in an alley late Wednesday night.
The shooting occurred at approximately 10:35 p.m. in the 800 block of East La Verne Avenue, according to Pomona police. The victim, identified as Jerome Clifford Hayes, was approached by a gunman, who opened fire on him, police said.
He was rushed to a hospital, where he died.
The suspect was only described as an adult male. There was no word on a motive in the killing.
