Stolen Jeep driver surrenders after police pursuit through South LA
The Los Angeles Police Department was in pursuit of a stolen Jeep near South LA.
Officers chased the driver through several neighborhoods before the chase continued onto the 110 and 105 freeways. The suspect exited the 105 Freeway near Inglewood.
With police trailing close behind, the suspect drove recklessly through city streets until reaching the Moneta Gardens neighborhood in Hawthorne.
After driving on the wrong side of the road and narrowly missing traffic while turning left, the driver and passenger surrendered to police on Fonthill Avenue and W. Rosecrans Avenue.
