Police Investigating Fatal Car-To-Car Shooting In Del Rey
DEL REY (CBSLA.com) — Police are conducting an investigation into a fatal car-to-car shooting in the Del Rey area.
Officers were called to Centinela Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard after a collision shortly after 8 p.m. Monday.
Investigators say someone shot into a Dodge Ram truck that then crashed into other vehicles at the intersection.
The driver continued, stopping behind apartment buildings at nearby Slauson Avenue and Braddock Drive a short time later.
The driver, a 22-year-old man, died of a gunshot wound at the scene.
