Police: Burbank Man Fires 2 Shots To Scare Off Men Trying To Repossess Car

BURBANK (CBS) — A Burbank man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of firing two shots to scare off two men trying to repossess a vehicle.

Burbank Police say Konstanin Abramian, 76, admitted to firing two shots toward the ground in the 3300 block of Lismore Lane to scare the men away.

The two men were originally contacted by police to legally repossess a vehicle from an owner that has never lived at the location.

Abramian was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and was being held on $50,000 bail. Two firearms were recovered from his home, police said.
