Police Believe Missing Irvine Boy, 14, Is Headed To Mexico
IRVINE (CBS) — Police were searching Wednesday for a 14-year-old Irvine boy they believe could be headed for Mexico.
Alan Rose was last seen about 6 a.m. Tuesday, said Irvine police Cmdr. Mike Hamel. The boy's father reported him missing about 4 that afternoon when he didn't return home from school.
Investigators suspect he may be going to Mexico -- they did not say why -- and could be in Tecate, a border town, Hamel said.
The boy is 5-foot-3, weighs 120 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call police at (949) 724-7200.
