Orange County Kids Hang Out With The Rams At Practice

IRVINE (CBSLA.com)  — It was an extra special day for 150 kids from the Orange County Boys & Girls Club who got an up close and personal look inside the Los Angeles Rams training camp in Irvine.

The practice which was closed to the public while HBO Sports films the "Hard Knocks" but was open to the group to get on the field and meet their favorite players.

"It's very emotional," said 12-year-old Josh Halstead. "It's so cool. It is such a big honor."

After practice was over, the kids were invited onto field to learn from the pros and do some drills.

"I just want to be the guy that inspires little kids and let them know we're here for them from square one since they're supporting us," Rams running back Chase Reynolds said.

The first preseason game is 5 p.m. Saturday at the Los Angeles Coliseum against the Dallas Cowboys.
