OC Reports 1st Flu Death Of Person Under 65
SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — A 48-year-old Orange County woman has died from complications with the flu, health officials said Friday.
The unidentified woman had underlying health problems and was infected with the influenza A virus.
This was the county's first flu-related death of a person under the age of 65 this year.
The state department of public health announced last week that a Ventura County resident under 65 also died from the flu.
