Mother Dog Surrendered To Shelter Happily Reunited With Her Puppies

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - A California animal shelter has captured an amazing reunion between a mother dog and her puppies all on video.

According to the Marin Humane Society's Facebook page, frightened Cora was surrendered to the facility Wednesday, and after further examination, they learned that she recently had puppies.

After a lot of detective work, their team was able to persuade the person who had surrendered the dog to also surrender the puppies, allowing for this magical reunion to take place.

Lisa Bloch, director of marketing and communications for the Marin Humane Society, stressed that the puppies without their mother would be in a unsafe situation.

The dogs "all are doing well and will be available for adoption in a few weeks," Bloch said.
