Moreno Valley Man, 20, Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Juveniles He Lured Using Social Media

MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A 20-year-old Moreno Valley man was in custody Friday for allegedly assaulting several juvenile victims he lured using social media.

Roshawn Davis was taken into custody Tuesday in the 16000 block of Saddlebrook and was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for multiple counts of felony sex crimes involving juveniles.

A school resource officer assigned to a Moreno Valley middle school was informed in February that inappropriate images were being shared on a social media website. Police were contacted, and after an investigation, they located several victims who had allegedly been lured and assaulted by the suspect, officials said.

Investigators served a search warrant for the suspect's social media outlet and took him into custody. He was being held on $2 million bail.

Police asked anyone with information about the case to contact Investigator Holland at the Moreno Valley Police Department at (951)486-6823.
