Missing 81-Year-Old Woman Found Safe In Barstow
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police Saturday said an 81-year-old woman who was reported missing Thursday has been found safe in Barstow.
Enolia Mims was last seen leaving her job in Canoga Park about 5 p.m. and family members reported her missing when she did not arrive home that night, police said.
A California Highway Patrol officer apparently found Mims in the Barstow area, where her Jeep Cherokee ran out of gasoline about 7 p.m. Friday, Detective Kristin Merrill of the Missing Persons Unit said.
The CHP notified the Automobile Club of Southern California and someone with AAA gave the woman a ride back to Los Angeles, Merrill said.
