Mira Costa High School Closed Tuesday Over Alleged School Threat
MANHATTAN BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A high school in Manhattan Beach will be closed Tuesday after a second day of threats against the campus, authorities said.
Officials at Mira Costa High School said the threats are nonspecific and are being investigated by the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
Administrators initially planned to open the campus with extra security Tuesday; however, a school email circulating late Monday indicated that it would be closed.
No further information was available.
