Man shot to death near Garden Grove parking lot

A man was found fatally shot near a parking lot in Garden Grove last week and authorities are still searching for an alleged killer. 

Police were dispatched to the the 9600 block of Garden Grove Boulevard at around 11:20 p.m. on Friday evening after learning of a shooting that had just happened, according to a release from the Garden Grove Police Department. 

Upon arrival, they found a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he remained until succumbing to his injuries on Monday, police said. 

"The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available at this time," they said.
