Man Killed, Boy Hurt In Reported Domestic Dispute

TUSTIN (AP) — Police say an elderly man was killed and a 16-year-old boy wounded when gunfire erupted at a home in an unincorporated area of Orange County.

Authorities say gunshots were reported at the home near Tustin shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Orange County sheriff's deputies arrived to find the boy and a 73-year-old man wounded.

The two were taken to a hospital where the man was pronounced dead. The teen was listed in critical but stable condition.

A woman who lived at the home is being questioned by police. Authorities say she was hospitalized with an undisclosed injury.

Another resident of the house, a 9-year-old boy, fled when the shooting began and was not hurt.

Sheriff's officials say they believe a domestic dispute resulted in the shootings. They did not elaborate.
