Man Arrested For Allegedly Stabbing Brother To Death
LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man who allegedly stabbed his younger brother to death in Hollywood was arrested today by San Bernardino police, authorities said.
Investigators say 42-year-old Edgar Pelayo was arrested early Monday for the death of his 31-year-old brother Phillip Pelayo.
Officer Karen Rayner says the brothers got into an argument Sunday afternoon in a Hollywood home and the younger brother was stabbed and later died at the hospital. Edgar Pelayo fled before officers arrived.
He was booked on suspicion of murder and held on $1 million bail, according to the sheriff's department.
