Make-A-Wish Helps Little Girl's Dream Come True
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — A little girl's dream came true Tuesday of swimming with the dolphins.
Shanna Learned, 11, and her mother Maureen visited the KCAL 9 studios Tuesday. Shanna suffers from Prune Belly Syndrome, a rare disease which left her with only one functioning kidney. Shanna has undergone surgery more than 30 times in her young life.
Earlier Tuesday, the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted Shanna's wish to swim with the dolphins. She will be going on a trip to Discovery Cove in Florida.
