Magnitude-4.1 Earthquake Shakes California's Napa Valley

NAPA (AP) — The U.S. Geological Survey says Northern California was struck by a magnitude-4.1 earthquake. No injuries or damage has been reported.

The USGS says the quake struck at 7:53 p.m. Thursday about 9 miles north of Napa and 6 miles east northeast of Yountville.

People turned to social media to say they felt a jolt and the ground shaking.

In August, a magnitude-6.0 temblor caused extensive damage in Napa and the surrounding area.
