Magnitude-3.0 Quake Hits Off Malibu Coastline

MALIBU (CBSLA) – A magnitude-3.0 earthquake struck off the coast of Malibu Monday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at 7:03 a.m. It struck about 8.3 miles southwest of Malibu. It occurred at a depth of about 6.2 miles.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

As of 7:45 a.m., at least 69 people reported feeling it through USGS's "Did You Feel It?" platform.
