LAPD Won't Confirm Report Lindsay Lohan Is Eyed In Stolen Jewelry Case

LOS ANGELES (CBS) —  Celebrity news website RadarOnline.com reported Tuesday evening that the Los Angeles Police Department asked a judge for a search warrant for Lindsay Lohan's Venice Beach home allegedly in search of a stolen piece of pricey jewelry.

The department did not confirm the report.

RadarOnline reported that investigators have video of the 24-year-old actress wearing the item in question.

"I know nothing about this," said Officer Karen Rayner of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

The website reported that police made the request at the Airport Courthouse today.

Lohan is on probation and facing possible criminal charges for an attack on worker at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, where she was undergoing a court-ordered drug rehabilitation program.
