LAPD Boosts Deployment Citywide Ahead Of NFC Championship Game
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Los Angeles police say they're fully prepared for issues, if any, that may arise during Sunday's NFC Championship Game and the Super Bowl in two weeks.
Deployment by the LAPD has been boosted across the city with hundreds of police officers in uniform as well as specialized assignments.
A study by Micronomics -- an economic research and consulting firm -- estimates that the city of Inglewood will bring in $2 million in tax revenue from Super Bowl Sunday.
